Sophie Hall – 2019 let’s go! New Year, New Goals

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and had fun bringing in the New Year with family, friends and of course, most importantly, our four-legged equine friends! Shamefully I did not manage to complete any admirable dry/vegan/health-kick January but I am feeling inspired and motivated to make 2019 a great year with lots of new goals for the boys.

2019 I am Ready For You!

Happy New Year Everyone
Well its 2019 and I've made it! This time last year I did wonder if I would still be riding at all but with some determination a fantastic amount of support from friends and family and some huge career changes I turned a corner and things are now going from strength to strength but where I am now needs and deserves some recognition for some special people.

Time to say goodbye to 2018!

Hi everyone,

Can you believe it, the year has absolutely flown by and we can finally say Merry Christmas!! Dare I say it I am yet to see any festive snow but the Hall household is certainly feeling ready for Father Christmas. We have been busy decorating, the lights are up outside, the trees are well and truly packed with decs and even the horses have their own tinsel in the barn. Even at 24 years old my amazing mum still buys me an advent calendar which I LOVE and am a firm believer that no one can ever be too old to have one. However, I think I was even more excited to see the horses’ advent calendars arrived and finally be able to share them with them.

Daniel Bates - 2019 What A Year!

Merry Christmas Guys!

I cant quite believe it is December and the year is nearly over but I am still having a fantastic time.

So after my November competition I went back into training with my next competition on the horizon. Since becoming a full time rider my training schedule is fast and furious but it is working. I am having more fun than ever learning new things everyday and experiencing things I had only ever dreamed of.

Sophie Hall - Rounding Up The Season

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone got to enjoy a fun-filled, haunted Halloween with their horses this October. This month saw the end of the event season for Gusthoff and the close of George’s busy dressage season too. As I sit here in a chilly November I am not quite sure what to do with myself. The horses are having a lovely holiday which has been thoroughly deserved. However, it would be fair to say I really do not know what to do without them!

Is your tack safe?

As the nights begin to draw in and the darker days are upon us it is important to know that your tack and belongings are being kept as safe as possible. As we all know tack can be accumulated over many years and can hold a great amount of sentimental value, as well as actual value. Having it stolen is not only a huge inconvenience but it can be really hard to also replace all of the items that fit so well!

Shearwater rider Sophie Hall - Finally deciding on Freddie

Hi everyone,

Where has September gone?! I feel like before we knew it the summer had left us and the shops are already (dare I say it) talking about Christmas! September has been a reasonably quiet month for us on the competition front but all systems go at home getting our new baby boy settled into his new home.
