We continue to be one of the leading players in the equestrian insurance but have expanded and diversified over the years to look after the insurance needs for a wide range of businesses and also cater for personal insurance needs.

Household Broker

The position of Household Broker within a busy broker has arisen.

This role includes:

  • Dealing with Household insurance, Equestrian Property and Trailer Insurance
  • Will be dealing with clients both face to face and over the telephone.  This will include handling Renewals, Mid Term Adjustments and New Business
  • The candidate must be able to convert warm leads into sales
  • Be able to ask the right questions and match the client’s needs to the product

Key requirements for applicants:

  • Minimum 3 years household insurance experience
  • The successful candidate must have a wiliness to learn.
  • A ”can do” attitude with a positive mind set
  • Motivated with a strong desire to exceed targets
  • Articulated, organised and totally customer focused
  • Be able to ask the right questions and match the client’s needs to the product
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent Communication, IT & Excellent Customer Service Experience
  • Must have a professional and business-like approach at all times and the desire to work in a successful Insurance brokers with great career prospects.
  • Experience of Applied Systems would be an advantage.

Office location is Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. Applicants must live locally to be able to commute to the office daily.

 

Equine Account Handler

We are currently seeking a new team member to work within our equestrian department.

The successful candidate will be a bright and enthusiastic person to join our Equine insurance team.

Shearwater Insurance will require a minimum of 3 years Insurance or office experience. The job will entail learning to deal with all aspects of Insurance from quoting and placing people on cover through to dealing with claims.

The candidate should:

  • Have excellent Maths and English skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be self motivated and adaptable
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Previous office experience and an interest/understanding of equestrianism is essential.

Office location is Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. Applicants must live locally to be able to commute to the office daily.
