Daniel Bates – Time To Say Goodbye

As with everything in life, people & situations change and so today Dan, Wilson & Hugo have left Biggs Dressage after 18 months.

We would like to thank John Biggs, Gail Biggs & Eleanor Biggs for their time over the past 18 months & introducing us to the beautiful Captain Wilson & then to the stunning Hugo (Hollyhurst Vanquish) & helping Dan take his first steps in his dressage career.

But as one chapter ends a new one begins and today Dan, Wilson & Hugo were welcomed into their new family at Levi Hunt Equestrian & Abbey Dressage in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

Dan having just finished his Level 2 Equine Diploma at Rodbadton College in Staffordshire is now going to concentrate full time on becoming a dressage rider with his new trainer International Dressage rider Levi William Hunt.

Levi is a UKCC3 level coach & BD listed trainer who has represented Great Britain 🇬🇧 & will support & progress Dans training with Captain Wilson whilst his horse Hugo will be carefully & patiently backed by professional dressage rider and trainer Laura Wollen at her yard Laura Wollen Dressage.

Dan is very excited about the future and the opportunities this move will offer him but is also looking forward to seeing the workings of a competition yard first hand from the everyday training to competing at Premier League Dressage events, demonstrations and all the fun in-between from yard manager, super groom and rider Nicky Hill as well as putting in a lot of hard work. Dan is ready for the adventure of a lifetime.

We would like to thank Levi and Nicky for this fantastic opportunity and the journey we’re about to go on with you.

We thank everyone for all the support Dan has received and hope you will continue to follow Dans progress with Wilson and Hugo.
